Studio Apartment

This compact South London studio apartment was designed with simplicity and minimalism at the heart of the brief. The client, who was a young professional wanted her home to be simple, minimal and sleek. The brief was to also ensure the property be  future “rent proof” as her job was taking her overseas and would be renting the property in her absence. We achieved a sense of  sleek fluidity using the same muted colour palette throughout. The bespoke kitchen was redesigned to maximise on storage to keep surfaces uncluttered, using fresh and light surfaces. The bathroom was also redesigned to incorporate more storage and focus on keeping the space airy and bright.  The bedroom before had only a wardrobe and the bed pushed into the corner, we introduced bedside shelves to give the illusion of more space and an end shelf for a dressing table area. In the Living area, we moved the layout to create division between the sitting area, dining space or work from home space with enough storage for personal items without it feeling overwhelmed with furniture.
